Area22: kitchen in which the handle is the protagonist

In the Area 22 handle collection, the handle is presented externally in the shape of a bridge with a gap for the hand to pass through

There are various positions of the handle in relation to the door: central, lateral, horizontal or vertical.

The multiplicity of shapes, sizes and finishes of the handle make it an aesthetic accessory that customises and characterises, making each composition unique.

Striking handles

A kitchen with an ice-white lacquered finish in which the handles are striking, especially in the tall unit area where a play of vertical lines is created in contrast to the Teka under-cabinet shelves.
The wall units in lacquered metal finish without handle are designed not to weigh down the composition. Their metal finish echoes the top: a steel top only 4 mm thick in which the Barazza hob has been integrated.

Area 22: a collection in which the handle is also the protagonist in the living area

The external handle is a valuable functional element not only for kitchens, but also for other elements in the living area.

In this composition, for example, a kitchen column door is transformed into a pass-through to access the study or work area. Such an element is called a one-way pass-through door.

Area22: a modern handle kitchen with a strong personality

The finishes of the Area 22 collection are enhanced by the wide range of handles available; they can be either metal or lacquered. The lacquered handle option is often used to contrast with the colour of the door, or in the same shade to give continuity to the composition.

In this composition, the kitchen doors, bridge handles and plinths are in the new metal lacquer finish.

In addition, the kitchen is presented without wall units and without visible appliances. The oven, in fact, has been concealed inside recessed doors; the hood, on the other hand, is integrated with the induction hob. In addition, the corners of the island have been rounded off thanks to Korner elements.

The advantages of fitted kitchens with a handle

The modern design of fitted kitchens with a handle fits perfectly with the diversity of styles a home can have, especially in terms of functionality.

There are many advantages to choosing a modern kitchen with an external handle:

• the doors can be opened without leaving marks on the surfaces, keeping them clean for longer;

• the external handle can give personality to the composition, but it can also be totally hidden if chosen to match the doors. In this way, the functionality of the handle can be maintained without having visual interruptions in the composition;

• being an independent accessory, it can be replaced over time to completely change the appearance of the composition.
