Emporio
grip profile

Emporio with grip profile is a kitchen with flat melamine or laminate doors, where a curved grip profile replaces external handles. Matching or contrasting with the doors, its colour helps define the character of the composition.

A HANDLELESS KITCHEN, DEFINED BY COLOUR

The door surfaces and the line of the grip profile shape the kitchen’s appearance. Emporio’s extensive modular range and choice of colours and finishes allow for different compositions, from solid colours to wood effects and more textured surfaces.
The grip profile can blend discreetly into these combinations or become a prominent detail.

THE CURVED GRIP PROFILE AS A DESIGN FEATURE

Choosing a contrasting grip profile highlights its shape. A dark finish against light-coloured doors, for example, emphasises the lines of the composition, while a matching profile creates a more uniform appearance.
Metallic finishes, matt, gloss or metallic lacquers, oak, and Stream, Argilla or natural cement finishes offer different interpretations, to be considered alongside the doors and worktop.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN PLANNING A KITCHEN WITH A GRIP PROFILE

The curved grip profile creates a space beneath the worktop, allowing you to insert your fingers and grasp the edge of the doors. Its presence does not change the height of the base unit carcasses, which are available in heights of 75 and 84 cm, with or without a grip profile.

In the tall unit area, however, each vertical grip profile occupies 3 cm in width. This must be included in the overall dimensions of the composition, with the profiles positioned according to how the doors open.
